Nasal Specula

    • Features two flat, tapering blades that separate the nostril walls when the handles are compressed. Often used in anterior rhinoscopy, nasal packing, polypectomy, and turbinate procedures.

    • Typically made of stainless steel, available in multiple blade-width sizes—e.g., 35 mm, 50 mm, 75 mm, and 90 mm. 

  • Killian Nasal Speculum

    • Designed with one blade and a fixed or adjustable opposing surface; ideal for focusing on specific areas within the nasal cavity.Blade sizes range from approximately 35 mm up to 85 mm with handle lengths around 13 cm (5 inches). 

  • Hartmann (Hartmann‑Halle) Nasal Speculum

    • Designed with flat, tapered blades and a spring or screw mechanism to gently retract nostril walls, aiding visibility and instrument insertion in endoscopic procedures. Available in sizes from infant to large (blades 20–30 mm), length about 13.5–15 cm. 

  • Thudichum Nasal Speculum (Disposable)

    • Single-use, pliable specula made from ABS plastic with rounded tips for patient comfort; blades open by pressing the handles. Suitable for clinical use where sterility and convenience are priorities.
